Why the written ones of this page are mostly in red?
The red one is the color that disturbs little the nocturnal vision. When we have need to read or to see something during a nocturnal observation we would have to use one light of red color. They exist in commerce of the red light torchs, studied for the nocturnal observations. If we do not find to them, we can use one torch electrical worker common and to shield its light with one red transparent film. This film can be obtained from a self-sticking sheet, or from the paper that wraps the Rossana candies.
What to carry with we during one nocturnal observation?
Apparel
The observations are carried out of evening usual, in open places and often also in quota. The temperature comes down in average of approximately 7 degrees for every thousand meters of quota. We must have cure to cover itself adequately: in winter they are of obligation plushy shoes or doposci, hat and gloves.
Equipments
If we want to use a torch, this must be shielded with a red color.
If we have binoculars we carry it with we: it will be impressive to observe how many things of the sky we can see in more also with this simple instrument.
A chair or a stool is useful is in order not to always remain in feet, but above all in order to observe more comfortably the high objects on the horizon.
If then we have wants to leave a trace of our observation, we carry with we a note-book and one matita. We will be able to write notes or to design what we have seen and to make of the osservativa escape one unforgettable evening.
Which are the more important dowries for a fan of the observations?
First of all it is necessary to be calm and patients and at the same time attention not to lose the escaping moment. Sometimes the best occasions introduce unexpectedly between a cloud and the other when already nearly we had even rinunciato to being able to see something!
It often succeeds that after the first observations we are taken from the enthusiasm and we would want endured to be able to see the images directly that the reviews or the TV propose to us. These images are obtained with telescopes and professional equipments or quite from telescopes space them and therefore not directly accessible.
At the same time also with simple binoculars new horizons in observing will be able to be opened for we objects that are to million light years of distance from we.
What can serve in order to orient to us in the Sky ?
Beyond to good binoculars, a book on the Constellations and Planets, an Astrolabe or one stellar map and one compass.
In alternative we can makes us to guide from a friend with greater experience. The first escapes will serve to give some element to us of guideline in the Sky amusing to us. Later on when we have minors difficulty with a minimum of confidenza with the stellato sky it is better to make alone.
When we are in a position to orienting to us alone we will be able to watch the Sky, to observe and to recognize the objects that us interesano when we want.

Skies and Paths
One week in the organized modenese Appennino from the New review Orione
The time has unfortunately not been of the
best ones and has only had three evenings in order to observe the Sky,
but it has been a splendid experience to be able to meet and to be
able to speak with many gets passionate to you.
Near the common one of Riolunato magnificent extension with
the best photos has been prepared one than David Malin (the most
famous world-wide astrograph). Creed that also in order to
only see this extension would be been worth the pain of the travel
from Rome.
And finally the last evening of 7 Saturdays September I have
had the occasion of being able to observe several Galaxies with my
binoculars: two in the same inquadratura (M81 and M82 in the
Greater Orsa), M33 in the Triangle, M31 (enormous) in Andromeda.
Beyond to these objects the vision of the Great heap of Perseo
(found for case has been magnificent!). All these thanks to
the friends who have helped me to trace the beautifulr objects.
Ringrazio the organizers of the manifestation and hope that the organizational difficulties of before the time can be repeated less the next years, exceeding and hoping in a covered sky that it could offer the opportunity to us to know still better the wonders of the Sky.
