Medium-easy excursion from Prato Favale passing for one wonderful secular beech wood to arrive at the Pratone di Monte Gennaro and to Campitello Fountain.
At 30km from Rome, in the park of the Lucretili Mounts,
under the Gennaro Mountain, between secular beechs and silent pianure, one easy walk in order to escape from the city sultriness.
The climb is quite costant to arrive at approximately thousand meters of
altitude.
This place is at only 30 minute of car from the city and
offers an unusual landscape that some medioeval legends
remember to us.

From the age of the bronze, to the romans, with the rests of a villa of the Middle Ages symbolized from the tower that dominates the area of the oasis, to the beach where disembarked the allies at the end of the second world war.
